Glistening Snow

Elegance At Christmas

I wanted to create a simply, stunning but elegant Christmas card this time.  Inspiration was purely and simply from some new dies that I had purchased recently.  The card used is Creative Expressions Foundation cardstock.  Creative Expressions Textured Scored Line 8x8 embossing folder. Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops to form pearls.  Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson Festive Collection - Rustic Twig Wreath, Frames and Tags - Madeleine, Frames and Tags - Stitched Flags.

Colourful Christmas

A modern themed Christmas full of shine and colour.  I have used Craftwork Cards backing paper which was the starting point for this card and working backwards to produce the card.  I have used Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson Festive Collection - Vintage Bauble. Just Cutz A5 essential oval die set.

Sparkling Festivities

Christmas summed up in a card again with plenty of sparkle.  I have used Crafts Too A4 Fancy Lattice embossing folder.  Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson - Finishing Touches - Trailing Ivy, Gemini Dies - Delphinus,  Austrian Collection - Innsbruck and Marianne  LR0128 die.  Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels. Cosmic Shimmer Phil Martin Dusky Rose pva glue.

Christmas All Wrapped Up

This card was created with my feelings of an idyllic Christmas and I'm happy that I achieved it.   This card has been created using Cosmic Shimmer Foundation cardstock.  Cosmic Shimmer Berry Sparkle pva glue to form pearls.  I have used Creative Expressions A4 Swirling Holly embossing folder. Creative Expressions Dies by Sue Wilson Festive Collection - Poinsettia mini background die. Britannia poinsettia die set, Marianne holly die. The sentiment is a Personal Impressions stamp set.

Modern Christmas

One of my aims for this year was to create some cards using backing papers that I have already and then from their work backwards for colour and design.  I have used Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops (Copper Penny) to form pearls.  I have used Tonic Studios Jewelled Crown Double Detail Die Set and Stencil, Tonic Studios The Holly and The Ivy Simply Screens Die set to create a fancy edge to the backing paper, and, Tonic Studios Merry Christmas Double Banner stamp and die set for the greeting which has been embossed using Cosmic Shimmer Dark Gold embossing powder.

Christmas Blessings with Bling

I wanted this card to represent me and what I feel about Christmas and yes there is sparkle on it.  I have used Creative Expressions Foundation cardstock.  Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson used are. Finishing Touches - Cape Daisy, Frames and Tags - Stitched Flags, Shadow Box Collection - Stitched Lattice Frames, Christmas Blessings.  I have also used Pixie Powders to create the coloured background and then self adhesive paper over the top and infilled with Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels.

Joy To the World 2

I just had to try the same card but in girlie pink just to see the effect and I just love it.  So pleased with the outcome.  All materials and products were used as they were in the previous blue one.

My inspiration for this card was from a John Lockwood demonstration on television.  The colour I picked for the card was to create the cold and frosty winter morning feeling.  I have used Creative Expressions Foundation cardstock throughout.  Cosmic Shimmer pvc glue my favour technique to produce pearls.  Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson Joy die, Austrian Collection - Innsbruck,and, Configurations - Blossom Edger dies have been used.

Christmas 2016 with the addition of Glitz and Glam

This Christmas card I my opinion, and, I feel my friends would agree typically sums me up with plenty of bling to it.    I have used Crafters Companion A4 Honeycombe Patchwork embossing folder again creating interest to the card design.  Tonic Studios Nuvo Crystal Drops (Copper Penny) have been used to create the pearls.   Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels have been used to give the effect of glistening snow. Spellbinders Shapeabilities Dimensional Snowflake die has been used as an embellishment. Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson - Gemini Dies - Ursa, and, New York Collection - Union Square and Frames and Tags - Stitched Flags dies has been used also.

Christmas My Favourite Time of Year

I'm sure it won't take you long to realise that Creative Expressions mainly, but, Tonic Studios are my most favourite brands they give me so much inspiration.  I have started to create more cards and up the "anti" so to speak with my designs.   I have learnt quality rather than quantity is of more importance to me, together with the ability to use more techniques on the creations as my crafty stash has increased.   This card has been created by using  Creative Expressions dries white pva glue to form a pearl pattern around the edge of my card.   A Creative Expressions Stamps to die for has been used but in a decoupage style to give depth to my card.  I have also used Creative Expressions Nordic Tile 8x8 embossing folder to create interest within the card.  The ribbon is again Creative Expressions American Seam Binding.
